The cottage has a spacious living area and a well-equipped kitchen, but what impressed us was a shoe dryer. The bedroom was incredibly cozy, with a comfortable bed and warm blankets. The breakfast was fantastic, with a lot of choices and the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly.
However, setting up the heater can be a bit tricky, and it takes a while to warm up. If you're not set on having a sea view, book a regular room. It's a bit more budget, and you can always stroll down to the deck to catch a glimpse of the view.

We came here to enjoy a ski tour in the beautiful Lofoten area. We had selected two cabins for two nights for our family. The cabins were fine and up to expectations apart from the fact that ours did not have a sea view. There were only single beds available. We were a bit disappointed that the rooms were not cleaned in between the two nights. The common area with the restaurant was rustic but nice and cosy. We were surprised to see that the whole Norwegian team had been replaced with a temporary Spanish team because of Easter holidays. They did their best but there was a clear difference in professionalism and service by the Norwegian team who returned our last day. Food was average with very few choices and the ‘catch of the day’ seemed to be the same dish every day. The highlight was the sauna, which was really great, but unfortunately not included in the price.

We went there in may so not a touristic period, but this place is heaven..the rorbu are fantastic, they have everything you need, plenty of space for 4 ppl. The view on the sea is amazing and you can feel the peace everywhere. Great breakfast!

A nice place to stay. Plenty of room. Great hot water and water pressure. All beds are single. The breakfast was very good with local fair. We had dinner 1 night and it was very good. It is located to a small town that is great to pick up supplies. They have boot dryers. Small kitchen.

We had a nice relaxing short holiday. Hotel is nice, beautiful views, nice and friendly personel. Beds were comfortable and breakfast delicious. Specially for a Finn the sauna with a view was delightful.

After one night spent at the cabin, woke up in the morning with many itchy insect bites. Highly suspect bedbugs (a first for me, didn’t have any of these spots before spending the night at this hotel). Told the hotel staff about it and they didn’t seem to care at all. They never came to check the room. The only thing they said was that we were late for check out… obviously since we were going through the bed and our suitcases trying not to bring them back home ! ||Moreover, the breakfast was packed. Didn’t manage to get a table at 8 when it was supposed to open (we suspect it opens earlier for groups on a tour) and when we came back at 9:30 there was almost nothing left and the staff didn’t make any refills for the remaining 30 minutes the buffet was supposed to be open. The few things we tasted were not the best quality either… ||The beautiful scenery is the only thing you will get for this expensive price.

The cabin was great. Great location and very close to the otters museum (lofotakvariet)
But we were really disappointed with the restaurant...

What happened? The first night we were there, we wanted to have a dinner at the restaurant: We consulted the menu on internet and it seemed promising. We settled at a table and first of all, we don t have any menu (so basically we absolutely don t know the prices of the starters, the mains, etc) and they only had 4 dishes that were different from the ones we saw on internet.... And with no vegetarian option whereas there was one on the internet s menu. They could make one hopefully and it was good (pasta with mushrooms). But the worst was that they only had 2 out of 4 dishes avalaible... So my friends took the butter chicken if I remember and meat stew.
The meat stew was ok but the chicken was not very great with only a handful of rice.

A special thanks for the waiter that started there for the first day and wanted to do the best for the customers and explained us why they only had 2 dishes avalaible. Apparently, they did not expect so much customers since before it was "dead" with few customers.

Finally, the price for all the dishes were the same (345 NOK). Even for the pasta.... So we think it s really expensive for the quality and quantity we had. We don t know how they earned the restaurant award mentionned on their website "Kitchen of the year".

It was a good thing that the breakfast was included into the price of the room BUT it would have been better if the breakfast was good. The omelet was burnt, the potatoes were half-cooked, the food was not refilled, when it s over, it s really over. The coffee machine was already broken on the second day. Globally, the quality is not achieved.
